Grilled Sea Bass Fillets with Lemon & Herbs

Calories per serving: ~280 calories


Ingredients (Serves 2):


  • 2 sea bass fillets (around 150g each)

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 lemon (zested and juiced)

  • 1 garlic clove, finely chopped

  • A handful of fresh parsley, chopped

  • 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves (or 1/2 tsp dried thyme)

  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions:


  1. Preheat the grill or barbecue to medium-high heat.

  2. In a small bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, garlic, thyme, parsley, salt, and pepper.

  3. Place the sea bass fillets on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and brush them with the lemon and herb marinade. Allow them to marinate for 10-15 minutes.

  4. Grill the fillets for 4-6 minutes on each side, depending on thickness, until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.

  5. Serve immediately with a drizzle of olive oil and a wedge of lemon on the side.


The Britalian Spritz Cocktail

Calories per serving: ~150 calories


Ingredients:


  • 50ml Prosecco (or any dry sparkling wine)

  • 25ml Aperol

  • 25ml soda water

  • Ice cubes

  • A slice of orange for garnish


Instructions:


  1. Fill a wine glass with ice cubes.

  2. Pour the Prosecco, Aperol, and soda water into the glass.

  3. Stir gently and garnish with a slice of orange.
